Terms & Conditions
These terms and conditions are made between SP & Sons domestic cleaning and Freight Solutions (‘we’ and ‘SP & Sons’) and you as the client (‘you’). We agree to perform the cleaning work and Freight Solutions specified by you in a professional and careful manner to provide the agreed service. All services we supply to you are subject to these terms and conditions. For domestic clients only.
If you are not completely happy with our service then please notify us within 48 hours in order that we may remedy the situation at no additional charge. The quality of our cleaning is always guaranteed.
1.1 These terms and conditions represent a contract between SP & Son and you which comes into force upon the provision of our services to you.
1.2 You agree that any use of the services provided by SP & Son will always be subject to these terms and conditions.
2.1 Details of the services that we can supply to you are detailed on our website www.psplus.co.uk.
2.2 Once we have agreed on the nature of the services to be supplied to you, we will write to you to confirm the cost and the details of the services.
2.3 All of our cleaners undergo induction and training courses prior to providing any services to you.
2.4 We will interview and obtain references for every cleaner representing our company. We will obtain a copy of a passport or
driver’s licence, undertake a DBS check, and in addition obtain proof of a permanent address.

3. Payment terms
3.1 Unless otherwise agreed payment of our agreed fee is due immediately upon completion of the services.
3.2 Fees can be paid by cash or debit card.
3.3 In the event that any fee is not paid on its due date, we reserve the right to charge you interest upon any outstanding amount calculated at 3% above the prevailing base lending rate of Barclays Bank plc.
4.1 We require a minimum of three (3) days notice if you wish to cancel an appointment and if you do not provide this notice we reserve the right to charge you 100% of the fee if less than 24 hours notice is given, and 50% if less than 72 hours but more than 24 hours notice is given.
4.2 If we have received payment in advance and you wish to cancel any refund will be made in accordance with the procedure set
out in clause 4.1.
4.3 If you wish to cancel, please call us on 07492 399 438 and leave a message if we are not available to take the call.
5.1 We reserve the right to introduce supplementary terms to these terms and conditions. However, we will notify you in writing and if we do not hear from you with any representations within 30 days from the date of notification you will have been deemed to accept any such amendments.
6. Your responsibility
6.1 You are responsible for making arrangements to permit us to have access to your home at the agreed time.
6.2 We must point out that it is your legal responsibility to ensure that your home provides a safe environment for our cleaners who undertake the services at your home.
6.3 In the event that our cleaners cannot gain access to your home on the agreed time and date we reserve the right to charge you the full cost of the service that was to be provided.
6.4 You agree that you will follow all reasonable instructions we request of you to permit us to undertake the provision of services to you in a professional and safe manner.
6.5 If you or any member of your household has any Covid-19 symptoms you must notify us to reduce any risk to our staff from Coronavirus.
7. Working conditions
7.1 In order to protect our employees, they are instructed not to enter an environment they consider to be unsafe or dangerous to health for any reason, and are instructed to withdraw from the premises and to report the problem. In this event, you will be charged 100% of the cost of the relevant services. If the services are rescheduled (after the environment has been rendered safe) you will be charged a fee equivalent to 50% of the original cost.
8.1 We have in place public liability insurance which will give you protection against any accidental damage that may be caused by our cleaners whilst providing services to you.
8.2 Whilst we ask our cleaners to inform you of any such damage we would ask that you contact us in any event to report any damage caused by our cleaners to your property. In the event of any such report, we will investigate this within 48 hours and report our findings to you.
8.3 All our cleaners are fully trained to treat your home and possessions with the greatest of respect and care.
8.4 In the event of damage or loss as a result of our negligence our liability to you will be limited to repair or the replacement cost of the item, taking into account its age and condition. We will not, in any event, be liable for any loss of profit or consequential loss.
9. Data protection
9.1 The information you give will be held and used by us to perform the business for which we are registered. This may include sending you details of offers and services that may be of interest.
9.2 We will use personal information for communicating with you. We may also provide that information to third parties with a legitimate reason to receive it in connection with your dealings with us (e.g. transfer of our business) or to such third party as required by you or the law.
10. The consumer protection (distance selling) regulations 2000
10.1 By virtue of these regulations we are obliged to supply you with clear and understandable information to allow you to decide whether you wish to purchase services from us.
10.2 You have a cooling-off period and may cancel any services we agree to supply to you in accordance with these terms and conditions within seven (7) working days from the day after we agree to go ahead with our contract with you.
11. Non-solicitation of our staff
11.1 During the period of our agreement and for a period of 12 months after the termination of this agreement you will not employ any staff that has been employed by Puremaison. We reserve the right to claim any damages, loss of earnings, recruitment costs, training costs, and any court costs where appropriate, subject to a minimum of £250.00.
12.1 Your only obligation is to provide us with at least three (3) days' notice to cancel any pre-arranged visit to your home to perform the services. Should you decide that you do wish to cancel please telephone 0345 600 3008.
12.2 For the avoidance of doubt you are not committing to a minimum term. If the contract between you and SP & Sons is on a week-to-week basis, you can cancel at any time. If on a one-off basis the contract will come to an end once we have provided the agreed services to you.
